LICENSED VETERINARIAN

WHO WE ARE

Pet Community Center is working to make high-quality spay/neuter and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners. Our programs are producing measurable, life-saving results at our local shelters. We're looking for a veterinarian with a deep, personal passion for helping pets and people.

WHO WE NEED

Although we are not actively hiring for a Veterinarian at this time, Pet Community Center is always looking to meet talented professionals. We have a professional, supportive, hardworking team of veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and administrative personnel. We offer spay/neuter services Monday-Friday and preventive veterinary services Monday-Saturday.

JOB SUMMARY

Candidates with a strong desire and aptitude to become successful high volume surgeons handling 30-35 spay/neuter surgeries per day. Our Preventive Veterinary Program has been a huge success, and growth is on the horizon! We offer healthy pet services, mainly vaccinations, and preventatives, in various locations through the Nashville area and in our stationary clinic. Candidates with high volume spay/neuter experience are encouraged to apply.

IS IT YOU?

There's a chance you may be our ideal veterinarian if you meet the description above, and if:

+ Even though you often find yourself teaching others, you live to learn more and geek out to JAVMA articles.

+ After a long day of helping 50+ pets and their families, you still have the energy to hit the town with your friends.

+ You don't take life (or yourself) too seriously and are quick to laugh!

+ You would love to be a part of a team that has fun every day and considers medical excellence as a bottom line.

+ Shorter shifts, lower stress, and no emergency call sound appealing to you.

+ Lots and lots of puppy breath!

+ You are looking for more than just a "paycheck"; you want to make a difference for people and their pets!

+ You enjoy a fast-paced work environment and thinking on your feet (even when sitting down).

To apply, send a resume and cover letter to Dr. Julie Buford, Medical Director, at julie.b@petcommunitycenter.org.

No phone calls, please.
